This hotel has old world charm- Feb. 2010
We stayed seven nights in this charming romantic hotel. There are 12-suites and ours had frescos on the walls and ceilings. We had a lovely entrance to a beautiful courtyard. The rooms are huge. The hotel personnel let you choose special soaps for your stay. The staff was very friendly. I don’t remember all of their names, but we received excellent recommendations from Dan and Francesca. This hotel has a very high level of service and attention to its occupant’s wishes. Every night the hotel served a lovely tea where you were able to meet interesting people. If you have to use the Internet, the price was very reasonable. The breakfast was excellent and the service was terrific. You feel like you are in a different world when you are eating in the breakfast room with its magnificent chandelier. There is an old fashion elevator that is fun to ride. The hotel is centrally located and it is easy to visit tourist attractions. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, the rooms are so insulated you do not hear anything. We had an incredible experience! We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Florence.

“Picked this hotel for 25th Anniversary and wasn't disappointed- Jan 2010
I found this hotel on Tripadvisor and then went to their web-site to review and book. We stayed in the Junior Suite. It had frescos on the walls and ceilings with its own entrance off of a courtyard. The internet price was very reasonable and the room was huge. The staff were the most helpful of any of the other Italy hotels we stayed in. The hotel is within walking distance of all sights in Florence. We even walked from the train station with our luggage (but we like to walk and it took us 15 minutes or so). Most people take a cab ride. Next time I go back, I will stay here for sure.

One of the best hotels I have visited for a long time -Jan 2010
This is an exquisite, 12-suite boutique hotel situated very close to all the tourist - and other - attractions of Florence. While it is situated on a busy street, the hotel, which has been restored to its palatial splendor, is very quiet inside.
Apart from the size of the actual rooms (HUGE), the hotel is remarkable for its attention to detail, the friendliness of the staff and the very high level of service in all areas. The breakfast was excellant, as was everything else.
I booked because of the very good reviews in TripAdvisor - they turned out to be 100% correct. I will make sure to return the next time I visit Florence,

Over the top - the best ever!- November 09
This is an all suites hotel. Huge rooms, well appointed baths, the staff is ever attentive to your needs. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every area it is no wonder that the are continually winning awards.
Stay here - you will not regret it!
Excellent location - you will need to park your car in their garage for 40 euro/night as this is in historic section with no other parking. Traffic here e
will make you happy to have parked the car.
The breakfast included is good & they have a cocktail hour with snacks available.
